Really, I almost laughed myself silly as I was watching with my other peers then. Carter learns about the kidnapping, and is determined to help. His counterpart, Carter, is played by Chris Tucker. Yes, we all know the ending, and sometimes the movie seems silly like the part where the bad guy is being chased into the roof rafters of the museum by Jackie Chan , but we always seem to see something we didn't catch previously that makes the movie fun. But isn't that why we love Rush Hour? This summer, I had several opportunities to see this film and of course took those chances because I just couldn't stop laughing at this film, no matter how I knew what would happen in the next scene.
He runs into Carter in the course of his investigation, and they team up to catch the kidnappers. I finally got my kiddos 2 boys, 11 and 7yrs to watch it and they loved it as well. I wanted to walk out of the theater several times. A lot of comedy in this movie, which makes this movie so entertaining, from the beginning to the end. And American actress Rosalyn Sanchez is a stunning surprise. .
So again we are back with a sequel of the Rush Hour series. Probably the worst of the series, but really not bad. Lee also holds secret meetings with a United Nations authority, but his personal struggles with a Chinese criminal mastermind named Kenji, which reveals that it's Lee's long-lost. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are just amazing and I cannot wait until the third Rush Hour release, I just know it'll be a great one! Carter teaches Lee about American culture, while Lee teaches Carter about chinese. It is very interesting to follow the storyline through those different cities.
Rush Hour 2 is one of those rare sequels that turn out to be either just as just as much if not equally more hilarious than the first. Lee is proficient in martial arts, and is able to display this skill throughout the entire movie. Product details Genres , , Director Starring , , Supporting actors , , , , , , Studio Warner Bros. Rush Hour 1 is still excellent but i think Rush Hour 2 has to be funnier having watched them both hundreds of times. My kids 13,12,10 all love Jackie Chan and the comedic antics of Chris Tucker, so watching the two banter back and forth throughout the movie make for an enjoyable movie…. There's quite a few decent action scenes and again Chris Tucker's character delivers a lot of the jokes and Jackie Chan's still got the awesome moves and stunts but is it just me or was the action a bit tamer compared to the other two? Sure, you can see everything coming from a mile away but it still makes you laugh and still entertains.
Either way the whole audience was laughing in the theater I went too. Not only that, but this movie seemed more rushed and the story wasn't as well developed as the first two Rush Hour films. The chemistry between the two leads is still there which makes these movies fun in the first place. Rush Hour 3, the sequel I've been waiting for, it's been 6 years since our last Rush and I couldn't wait to join Chris and Jackie once again for their awesome comedy and action. Maybe being Jackie Chan with one of the best Asian celebrities who really make it big in Hollywood and really brought honours for us here in Asia, I knew I was in for a great time when I first watched this movie. John Lone is very credible in his role. I went to laugh and i did.
And watching Zhang Ziyi playing a bad girl, it was like - whoa! I really hadn't thought it could be as bad as it was. At the beginning of the movie, Carter and Lee both make mistakes which put them on probation at their jobs. As they navigate the streets of Los Angeles, they interact with each other in a way that is funny and serious at the same time. I saw the first Rush Hour and didn't know what to expect when i watched it at a friend's house. Prepare to laugh in stitches.
Chris Tucker is a great American actor and we like him as an example of a good patriotic American. It's vacation time for Carter as he finds himself alongside Lee in Hong Kong wishing for more excitement. I thought this movie was actually good. I cannot wait until Rush hour 3 comes out! I do not understand why people are hating on this wonderful film, but the jokes I guess could be said that they have been done before. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are perfect for the roles and both are excellent throughout the movie which has even more humor than Rush Hour 1.
While Carter wants to party and meet the ladies, Lee is out to track down a Triad gang lord who may be responsible for killing two men at the American Embassy. Rush Hour 3 is all in good fun, standing on it's own, if this was the first Rush Hour, it would have been fine somewhat, but just comparing it to the first two films, this wasn't as good. Inspector Lee and Carter are an awesome duo, they seem to be the only thing in this movie, but the kick in Carter's face from Hu Li makes clear it is not so. The fight scenes are pretty cool I really liked the one with the locker doors in the casino and Tucker's jokes with that high pitched voice are just really funny. I found it downright offensive in a few points and the humor was weak at best. It's hard to tell, but usually 3 movies is enough and the first one started like 10 years ago so its a rather large gap. If you liked the first two, you'd probably enjoy this one.
