By the time they reach Berry Valley, Littlefoot realizes that even though the Yellow Bellies don't follow his Wisdoms very well, their silly techniques work just fine. The Wisdom of Friends didn't disappoint us even after seeing many other Land Before Time movies. Get ready for lots of laughs with your favorite prehistoric pals and their new friends in their funniest journey ever! These messages are unobtrusive and neatly woven into the stories. Little Foot, Spike, Ducky,and Chomper are extremely likable and entertaining. We have been watching the danged things for years and still get a laugh out of them. Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Petrie and Ducky are excited to meet two goofy and lovable yellow-bellied Beipiaosauruses, Loofah and Doofah, who have lost their way while traveling to the distant Berry Valley.
Kids really like this movie and don't mind watching it over and over. This is one of the two we didn't have and we enjoyed this one just as much as the others. Featuring memorable new songs and the hilarious voice talents of Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. My child brought the The Wisdom of Friends as a checkout from the library. The disk was well-used, plenty of scratches and scuffs. Once I saw it and realized what important lessons it was teaching my child, I had to buy a copy. I recommend this movie for anyone who likes sweet, g-rated stories.
. The Land Before Time movies have always been a big hit with us. Loofah and Doofah seem to be too clumsy to find the way back, so Littlefoot and the others decide to help their new friends while sharing important life lessons called Wisdoms along the way. Only negative is a need for parents to limit reruns over strong objections. Well worth it, and I recommend watch it with your child at least once. They are not nauseatingly sweet or overly simplistic. While these are obviously made for younger children, they are excellent for all ages.
The stories have a message about caring for each other, being kind, accepting the differences of othere, etc. There's a reason for that. My daughter is way over the age of watching cartoons, but whenever she is home from school sick she still reaches for a Land Before Time movie. They mix up the dino eras a bit, but it is easy to forgive them because the characters are really pretty timeless. My older handicapped daughter with a very young way of thinking loves it—watches over and over.
We think we have all the episodes and movies made of Land Before Time, so the repeats aren't too memorizable. I have watched some and find the movies engaging. . . . .
